He is currently Associate Professor at the University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy. Previously he was a Research Fellow at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata," Rome. In 1988 he was a recipient of a NATO-CNR research scholarship during which he was a visiting researcher at the University of Bath.
He was a Visiting Professor at the University of Victoria, Victoria, B.C., Canada, first from June to August 1992, and again from 21 June to 2 July 1993, to conduct joint research activities with the laboratory of the NSERC/MPR Teltech Industrial Research Chair in RF Engineering. He is currently working on modeling and computer-aided design of microwave and millimeter-wave guiding structures and antennas.
